This painting is also inspired by Curaçao, made for a dear friend. He needed the island vibes of his homeland in his room in Hengelo. I tried to incorporate the bright feeling of nature and ocean in a playful way. But the painting is also kind of organized, the elements are neatly positioned, and the liking for having things in order is something me and my friend have in common.
