Daphne Bleeker (b. 1993, Amsterdam, NL) views her artisticpractice as a living garden, a dynamic ecosystem of diverse styles and themesthat are constantly developing. Her paintings, born from an interplay of intuition and conceptual exploration, initially capture attention through their visual richness and spontaneous expressiveness, subsequently addressing deeper layers of human experiences and ecological reflections. 

Inspired by a deep fascination with the human psyche and the complexity of relationships, Bleeker cultivates an oeuvre in which themes such as identity, sexuality, and the search for connection take center stage. 

In her recent work, Bleeker explores contemporary visual culture and societal narratives. With an inquisitive gaze, reminiscent of an anthropologist, she observes human reactions and examines the fluid boundaries of personal freedom and social norms.
