Inspired by the work of Artemisa Gentilechi and after finding a brand new black canvas at a thriftshop, I felt like painting a scene of darkness and light myself.

You could see this as a study of light and detail, and as my translation of the Baroque drama. In my case the scene is very still, but odd and even though the skies will give you the feeling of a Baroque-ish setting, she in the middle, is a modern woman.
